I've always believed, but have been afraid to articulate it in front of others, that witnessing to an unregenerate person who never comes to the Lord is nevertheless useful in that the Lord will use it to "vindicate Himself" (as you expressed it) on the day of judgment.
Wasn't sure my theology was correct, but it helped me to feel used of God notwithstanding the effect the Gospel had on the lost. So, thanks for articulating the idea that God will use various events to both save the elect and vindicate his judgment against the reprobate.
PS.--I like the idea of having these little videos now and then. Really appreciate it.
Thanks James. Glad to hear it was helpful.
I began to experience a change in a festering legal issue in my life for the good about a week before COVID -19. Upon its arrival I've experienced an accelerated and deeper experience of changes for the good. God is defeating evil in this legal issue I've been addressing for 5 years.
Thank you for the video, looking forward to the next one.
Glad your feeling better
Thanks Michelle. That's good news about your progress. I'm planning on a video for Thursday and Friday so stay tuned!
Thank You for taking the time to bring a message which helps me see how God sees and uses this famin. I continue to enjoy live stream (what a blessing) and look forward to a time when we can congregate.
As long as I take my meds on time my heart behaves. lol I'm regaining my strength.
God bless and protect you.
Thanks and you are welcome! I recommend using your phone to set a timer for those meds :) Got to stay strong to fight off the virus!
Chris, as usual, like turning on the windshield wipers in a spring downpour.
Wow, I'm humbled. Can I borrow your metaphor? Or is that a simile? I can never remember. Whichever, it's a good one and will become my new goal in each sermon. :)
All week I have been glued to Fox News learning all I could about the Caronavirus . Chris, your sermon Sunday, really helped me in ways I don,t fully realize now.. I do know that since hearing your sermon, I am at peace with the virus by knowing God is in charge, and I and fellow Christians are becoming more like Jesus, our awesome Lord and Savior.
Blessings to all,
Amen and Praise the Lord!
I was struck and convicted by Col. 3:1-4 this morning in light of the massive dimensions of this distraction. I'm actually starting to wean myself off the large doses of news that I've been consuming for what seems like weeks and weeks now.
Thank you Chris. I do believe you are exactly right in what you said. This world had really gotten out of control and turning away from the Lord. I Pray that this can bring God back into the lives of the people who have been brain washed to turn away from him. Amen and God Bless
It's exciting to remember that God has everything and everyone at His disposal to "work all things after the counsel of His will."
The more you think about it, Romans 8:28 is like a good summary or theme verse for the whole Bible!
I agree with everything you said.I hope and pray those with FAITH grow closer to GOD and others will turn to him in belief and FAITH .
Amen! Exciting times. To see how God's providence can change the daily lives of billions is stunning. It should give us even more confidence in the prophecies yet to be fulfilled. If a temporary virus can have this kind of world-wide economic impact, imagine what the Tribulation will do!
Thank you for your watch-care and passion for your people and the gospel. Love having a video update-keep it up.
Two more are in the works. I've got to do something to keep Toby busy!
Love The Reminder that our testimonies never go unsatisfied. At the very least ... or the very most, they serve to vindicate God.
Thanks Chris ... more please.
Hey, Vicki! More videos are on the way today and tomorrow. I hope you're doing well.
