The governor made our decision for us. He just announced an executive order closing all restaurants, bars, gyms and schools until April 3. He also banned gatherings of 10 or more. Churches were not mentioned one way or the other, but we will take the high road and comply with this order from our governing authority. This is an important part of our testimony to unbelievers and a demonstration of proper humility and love of neighbor.
So that means all church activities on campus are cancelled until further notice. Homegroups should forego meeting as well.
However, please tune in Sunday morning at 10:30 via the church web site. Toby and team will sing and play for us, I will read Scripture and pray and bring a message from Romans 8:28 entitled "How COVID-19 May Work Together for Our Good."

No services means no conventional collection of offerings. As you are able, we urge you to maintain your giving via mail, drop off at the church during office hours (MTWF from 8a-noon, 1p-5p) or by using our online giving option found here. We have many people and families dependent on our mutual support.
We will continue to pay our part-time hourly staff (finance office, nursery workers and cleaning crew) at their normal levels.Salaried employees will continue in their roles (Chris, Toby, Scott and Rita). We are adequately spread out for us to maintain office hours.
Paul was under house-arrest for two years, but this did not stop him from ministering to others, not did it separate him from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Email, text, call or write one another. Spend extra time with spouse or kids.Go on a walk and enjoy the sights and sounds of Spring. God is with us; His Spirit, His Word, and His peace.
