Youth Ministry

The goal of the youth ministry is the same as the goal of the church. We exist to evangelize the lost, to edify and build-up the saints, and to glorify God through worshiping Christ. The youth ministry of KBC seeks to honor Christ by calling the youth of this church and in the community of Kerrville to follow Christ in faith and to worship Christ in their daily lives.

Starting in September, 2009 our Senior High guys are being discipled by our youth leader, Brian Moss and the girls are being discipled in a separate meeting by Brian’s wife, Becky. They meet on Wednesday nights, 6:30 – 8:00 at the church. For more information contact Brian or Becky at 830-257-3276. This is an invitation-only meeting designed for believing youth who want to be challenged in a small-group setting and who want to be serious, intentional and accountable to others in their walk with Christ. Participation will require regular attendance, Scripture memory, discussion participation and completion of homework.

Since 2007, Brian has also led our short-term mission trip into Mexico with To Every Tribe Ministries. Many of our youth routinely go with Brian and the other adults on this one-week trip.

For 7th – 12th grader guys and girls, we offer a Sunday school class from 9:30 – 10:30 taught by different men of our church, each taking a one or two month tour of duty. In this way we are seeking to give the youth a variety of teachers, styles and biblical content to enhance their learning experience. This class is open to all youth in Junior or Senior High School.
