ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, AUGUST 24 – KBC Members, make plans now to join us at 9am for our annual membership meeting in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll enjoy fellowship and ministry updates as we look forward to the upcoming year. Don't forget to cast your vote on the budget prior to the meeting.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS SUNDAY SCHOOL AND BREAKOUT – Thinking about joining KBC or just want to get to know us better? This Fall, we’re excited to offer a Sunday School class and Wednesday Night breakout designed to give you an inside look into who we are, what we believe, and how you can be a part of our church family. The 7-week class runs from September 7 (Sunday) & 10 (Wednesday) through October 26&29, with a break for Family Camp and Fall Break. KBC NURSERY AND CRY ROOM – A caring and secure ministry to children ages 0-3 is located in the Children’s Building during the worship service. Please check in at the children’s desk. Cry/nursing rooms for moms and babies are located off the worship center foyer and in the children’s building.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH – For children ages 4-6. Parents, please bring your children to the foyer when the dismissal slide appears on the screen. They will be escorted to the Children’s Building and must be picked up there by their parents immediately after the service.

NURSERY for ages 0-3 and CHILDREN’S CHURCH for ages 4-6 (dismissed mid-service) is located in the children’s building. All children must be checked in by their parents. Cry rooms are located off the foyer and in the children’s building.

MINISTRY WHITEBOARDS UP! It takes an army of volunteers to serve the many ministries of KBC. Whiteboards are in the foyer windows. Make plans to serve. Not sure what the needs are? Look for the blank spaces.

KBC KIDS FALL KICKOFF for kids age 2 through 5th grade and their families. August 27, 6:30-8PM in the FLC. Bounce houses, carnival games, fun snacks to kick off a new year of children's ministry! 

MY HEART UNVEILED – Women’s Study, Thursday mornings 9:30-11, starting August 28th.  This is a discipleship study with the goal of unveiling our hearts to see more clearly the majesty and supremacy of God, bring our whole hearts to Him, and walk in loving obedience. Books and discussion schedule must be picked up at the registration table before the first class.

KBC KIDS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT begins Sept. 3 for ages 2 thru 5th grade. Each week, children will learn foundational biblical truths and doctrine with Kids 4Truth. They'll learn a question, answer, and Bible verse, and discover what it means through teaching, activities, and game time. Register at kerrville.bible/kbc-kids

HOME GROUPS AND FALL SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sign-ups are in the Foyer! Join for great fellowship! New Sunday School classes begin September 7.

I THESSALONIANS for WOMEN... a compelling and relevant Bible study by Chris McKnight for “such a time as this,” with user-friendly questions for the table groups. Begins Monday, September 8, 7-8 pm and Tuesday, September 9, 9:00-10:45 am.  Childcare is available on Tuesday mornings only for preschool.  Members and non-members welcome!  The book will be $10 and available when classes begin. SIGN-UP NOW in the foyer or on-line kerrville.bible/1Th Questions: Judy Simmons (830)-385-0167.

Men’s BSF Bible Study begins Sept. 8, “People Of The Promise: Exile & Return. A non-denominational in-depth Bible study on Monday, 6:30 – 8:00pm, at The Kerrville Church of Christ. Study plans are designed to produce a humble and repentant heart that depends on God. www.bsfinternational.org, or call Ray Williams (214-674-2226).

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BREAK OUT SESSIONS – Sign-ups are in the Foyer. You have two practical options for growing in Christ: 

1. "Managing God's Money"  by Randy Alcorn. (book discusstion, led by Elder Jay Scott)
2. "The Hole in Our Holiness" by Kevin DeYoung, (book discussion, led by Pastor Scott)

Both groups will meet from 7-8pm. As noted on the sign-up sheets, you are on your own to get the book. 

FAMILY CAMP, OCTOBER 3-5 - Five rooms remain available for our annual Family Camp at Camp Buckner in Burnet. Go to kerrville.bible/familycamp for more info and to sign up. Regular attenders (non-members) please use the waiting list option.

Please write separate checks for the different funds (General, Flood Relief or Agape) as they go to separate bank accounts.
