NEW & NOTEWORTHY FLOOD RELIEF FUND - A special fund has been set up to receive funds to help the community with clean up and re-building. Our online giving platform has a place now to designate giving toward helping our church family and neighbors in need. Of course you can still give checks, but please indicate on the memo line that the check is for flood relief. PARKING FOR SUNDAY: As you know, we have been hosting the Samaritan's Purse on the campus. As of Saturday, they will be packed up and no longer using our facilities. Therefore, all of our parking spaces are now freed up for members' use. Our new lot is an option for extra parking (depending on the weather). Please check in at the children’s desk. Cry/nursing rooms for moms and babies are located off the worship center foyer and in the children’s building. CHILDREN’S CHURCH – For children ages 4-6. Parents, please bring your children to the foyer when the dismissal slide appears on the screen. They will be escorted to the Children’s Building and must be picked up there by their parents immediately after the service. WHITEBOARDS are up! It takes an army of volunteers to serve the many ministries of KBC. Whiteboards will be in the foyer windows for the next few Sundays in order to make sure everyone has a chance to sign up. Make plans now about where you will serve. We have new areas that need your consideration. FALL SUNDAY SCHOOL Sign-ups are in the Foyer and New this Fall is the Children Sunday School Sign-up! HOME GROUP – Signups are in the Foyer! Join a group for food, great fellowship, Christian life/sermon discussions, & prayer. WEDNESDAY NIGHT BREAK OUT SESSION - Sign Ups are in the Foyer. You have two practical options for growing in Christ: #1 Money, Possessions and Eternity by Randy Alcorn. This book club will be led by Elder Jay Scott. #2 The Hole in Our Holiness by Kevin DeYoung, led by Pastor Scott. Both groups will meet from 7-8pm. As noted on the sign up sheets, you are on your own to get the book. LADIES...SIGN-UP NOW IN THE FOYER for My Heart Unveiled, Monday evenings 6:30-8:00, starting August 25th at KBC. This is a discipleship study with the goal of unveiling our hearts to see more clearly the majesty and supremacy of God and bringing our whole hearts to Him. Books are $15 and must be purchased in the foyer before the first class. I THESSALONIANS for WOMEN...a compelling and relevant Bible study by Chris McKnight for ‘such a time as this,’ with user-friendly questions for the table groups. Begins Monday, 7-8 pm, September 8, and Tuesday, 9-10:45 am, September 9. Babysitting only on Tuesday for preschoolers. Both members and non-members are welcome!
