ANNOUNCEMENTS

WORSHIP SERVICE OVERFLOW Is in the Fellowship Hall. Our ushers will monitor the seating in the worship center and direct late-comers to the Fellowship Hall. Please participate there as you would in the Worship Center. There will be no video feed in the foyer going forward.

CHURCH DIRECTORY - Need help accessing the church directory? Church members may access the church directory via a link on our website. Smartphone users may use the Instant Church Directory app that is downloadable from your app store. In either case, you will create your own login with a password that you choose. You must use the email that we have on file for your login. Please let the office know if you need to make any changes to your information.

KBC NURSERY AND CRY ROOM – caring and secure ministry to children ages 0-3 is located in the Children’s Building during the worship service. Please check in at the children’s desk. Cry/nursing rooms for moms and babies are located off the worship center foyer and in the children’s building.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH – For children ages 4-6. Parents, please bring your children to the foyer when the dismissal slide appears on the screen. They will be escorted to the Children’s Building and must be picked up there by their parents immediately after the service. If they are attending for the first time please accompany them to the children’s building to register.

MINISTRY SIGN-UP BOARDS – It takes an army of volunteers to serve the many ministries of KBC. Whiteboards are up and will be in the foyer hallway windows and new foyer windows on Sunday!  So many opportunities in so many areas. Where will you serve this year?

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, August 20 at 8:45am. Please join us for this important meeting. We’ll hear Ministry updates and poll for the 2023-2024 budget.  Family Camp sign-ups will start 15 minutes before the meeting.

FAMILY CAMP – October 20-22 at HEB Foundation Camps in Leakey. Sign-ups will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. in the Foyer on August 20 - 15 minutes before the Annual Meeting begins. Only KBC Members may reserve rooms at Family Camp; however, non-member extended family may stay with members in their rooms. There will be a few spots for Family Camp first timers. We anticipate this will fill up right away, so be prepared to come early and get in line! The accommodations are free, so the only cost is for food. The cost schedule will be available at the sign-up table and you will have to pay to sign up, so please bring your checkbook. A Saturday-only option is also available.

CONNECTIONS CLASS - Saturday, August 26th 8am – Noon. Thinking of becoming a member of KBC? This class is taught by our elders and will give you an overview of what we believe, how we’re governed, and how you can be involved. Sign up: Kerrville.bible/connect. Two months of regular attendance required before signing up. Childcare (0 - 12 yrs.) provided upon request.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY SIGN-UP IN FOYER: Ladies, please plan to join us on Saturday, Sept. 9th at 11:30am - 1:00pm for a "Fall in Love with Jesus" luncheon. You can sign-up for attendance and/or to help with the event, in the Foyer this Sunday.  For more information, contact Susan Gregory at 409-682-4453. We hope to see you all there!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - A reminder for KBC members that while National Collection Week is 3rd week in November, now is the time to stock up on school supplies for packing boxes as they’re readily available and on sale!

WOMEN’S FALL BIBLE STUDIES – LADIES… SIGN-UP NOW:

My Heart Unveiled has 2 classes on Thursdays starting August 31 at 9:30-11:30 AM or 6:30—8:30 PM at the Family Life Center.  Books are $15.00 and need to be purchased in the foyer before the first class.  For questions call Fritzeen Scott at (925) 321-1281.
Romans, a 2-semester study by Pastor Chris McKnight in the FLC  begins Monday evening, Sept. 18, with discussion and audio teaching at 7:00-8:00 PM or Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, 9:30-11:00 AM with discussion and live teaching. Study books: $15.00. Sign-up in the foyer OR on-line at kerrville.bible/fall23. Childcare is available on Tuesday am class only. For questions call Judy Simmons at (830)-385-0167.
KBC BOOKSTORE – Be sure to check out our bookstore located in the foyer extension. Inside each book is an envelope with the price. Please place your payment (cash or check) in the envelope and drop the envelope in the box provided.

LENDING LIBRARY - We have re-established our lending library located in the “conference/ counseling” room in the front office of the church. Books can be self-checked out anytime the church is open. Instructions are posted next to the bookshelves. Also, feel free to use the library to read or study. We have a large number of Bible commentaries and Bible study resources.

Regular mail or drop off during office hours (898 Harper Road).
(Office hours are 8-12 and 1-5 M-Th)
Please write separate checks for the different funds (general or Agape) as they go to separate bank accounts.
