How is this study in Galatians affecting us personally and how do see it affecting our church in positive ways. Are there particular passages that stand out?

I admit that I have ‘scanned’ Galatians in the past. I’m so thankful that Chris has enthusiastically introduced me to the honest, deep dive into the book. So many notes I have taken, so many exclamation points, underlined and capitalized parts!

I have been so encouraged by the reminder that it is the faith that God gave me that assures my salvation. That good works is a byproduct of that faith. What a blessing this Series has been for me!

This study has encouraged and ‘explained’ my salvation experience. I have always felt a bit confused by it. The Holy Spirit, with great drama, came to me as I was reading John 14:1. Yes, I read and BELIEVED it, but I wasn’t repenting my many sins in that moment. As weeks and months went by, and I heard ‘believe and repent’ to be saved, it caused me much stress. For a long while I kept working to recreate the experience so that I could be SURE that I was saved.

How encouraging Chris’ focus on faith in Galatians has been. Fresh air reminder!
