Friday Encouragement

It's Friday afternoon and I'm making last-minute preparations for our worship service on Sunday. We won't see you on Sunday, which is very sad, but we hope you'll see us via Livestream.

I wanted to send you this quick note to give you some music to encourage your heart.

 I've created a playlist on Youtube that includes all the music that we've been singing lately. Play this on a loop and sing along...loudly.

Also, I've been working on a new song for a while now and would like to share it with you. It's a new treatment of an old German hymn called "When Morning Gilds the Skies". I've re-written the music, modified a few words, and written a new chorus. I hope it blesses you. Feel free to share the YouTube link on your social media.

One more thing before you go. We are looking into creating some touch-points throughout the week. This will have to be done over the internet. The platform we are going to try is Zoom. There's really nothing to do at this point. If you join a meeting on your computer, you will be prompted to run the software. You will, however, want to download the app on your phone or tablet, unless your computer has a camera. Take a look at the details at www.zoom.us. If you want to get the app, search for Zoom Cloud Meetings in your phone or tablet app store. We'll send out more info on this later. We just wanted to make you aware that we were looking for opportunities to meet face-to-face, even if it is in cyberspace.
