Thank you so much for these discussions. Thank you for showing us what real Christian life looks like! Thank you for clear explanations of Scripture. Of what scripture says and what it does not say!
The idea from John Piper was so helpful. Reminds me of Philippians 1:6. It is God who began this work in us to be believers. It is He who will enable us to the finish line.

Thank you for your answers to my request ! The Piper quote was not one I had heard. The Scriptures you shared have been such a help over the years dealing with disappointment, illness and deaths of loved ones. Especially Habakkuk 3:17-19.

My journal recorded, “ If I lose my money, my health and the man I love, I will rejoice in the LORD.”

Several of my family are coming to visit me in June to encourage my care of Uncle Lee. Another crisis passed by this month with him. I can’t tell you what it means to be back in church!
