I placed my faith in Christ in 1993 at the age of 33, shortly after the birth of my first daughter, Hannah. In 2001, we moved our family to Kerrville and began attending Kerrville Bible Church, where I have served for the past 25 years. After serving as a deacon, I was affirmed as an elder in 2007.
Born and raised in Rising Star, Texas, a small farming community located in central Texas, we raised cattle and farmed peanuts. The youngest of four children with three older sisters, I was raised in a home that valued church life and faithful service. My family attended The First Baptist Church.
After graduating from Rising Star High School, I attended Eastern New Mexico University before beginning a career in residential home construction in 1984. I have worked in the industry for over forty years and now own a local home design-build business. In 1986, I married my bride, Valerie, and together we have built a life centered on faith and family. We are the proud parents of two adult daughters: Hannah and Molly.
Outside of ministry and work, I enjoy the outdoors— hunting, fishing and spending time in God’s creation—as well as collecting life-sized “Hot Wheels.”
I consider it a privilege to serve and shepherd the body of Christ.
