Sunday School for All Ages

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4
From Labor Day until Memorial Day, we offer Sunday school classes for ages 4 and up.

Currently, here are our adult Sunday School offerings:
  • Philippians
  • Biblical Counseling
  • The Meaning of Marriage

Contact us to find out where to go for these and the graded children's classes.

Home Groups

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
Discipleship happens within the context of real life. We believe in living that life together. If you are interested in knowing others and being known, our home groups are the place. Some groups meet twice each month, some only once. Call us to get plugged into a group.

Biblical Counseling

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
God understands your heart better than anyone. He knows your problems, and He knows your needs. The solutions to your problems and the guidance for living a full, abundant life are found in the Bible.

Call us today at 830-895-3589 to speak with one of our trained Biblical counselors.

Children's Ministry

Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Who Cares for Our Children?

Our children are important to us and it is our desire to care for them in every way. Our nursery and children workers are church members or paid staff who have experience working with children and undergo background checks to ensure the safety of our children.

Nursery care is provided for ages 0-3 during Sunday school and worship. Children's Church, for ages 4-6, meets every week except for the first Sunday of the month. Children are dismissed to Children's church during or after the offering.

Men's Ministry

Be on the alert; stand firm in the faith, act like men; be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
With God’s Word as our guide and The Lord Jesus Christ as our model, our mission is to exhort men to lead, labor, and love. Our goal is that all men would be conformed to Christ, becoming more like Him in all areas of life, especially in our homes, occupations, and communities.

We offer weekly Bible studies as well as weekly and annual service projects.

Women's Ministry

Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
Titus 2:3-5
The KBC Women’s Ministry purpose is to Glorify God and promote progress toward spiritual maturity through Bible Study, prayer, discipleship, and fellowship.

This ministry among KBC women is led by a committee of seven women and includes a prayer ministry, Bible Study, a quilting group, wedding and baby shower ministry, and special fellowship gatherings throughout the year.

Worship Ministry

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Colossians 3:16

Music is a vital component to the life and health of the church. If you love God and have some musical ability, we want you involved in the worship ministry. Our emphasis is on congregational singing, followed by choral presentations, then solos and ensembles. Can you sing or play an instrument? There may be a place for you in helping lead people in worship.

Youth Ministry

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.- 1 Timothy 4:12
Teaching Godly Youth: The youth ministry of KBC seeks to honor Christ by calling the youth of this church and in the community of Kerrville to follow Christ in faith and to worship Christ in their daily lives. They meet together upstairs in the Family Life Center on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm for singing and teaching, then split JH and HS for discussion/games and discipleship.

180 is an opportunity for youth to spend time with peers learning and challenging one another to live a life abandoned to the glory of God. Please come and see what it’s all about.
