I believe that Satan was defeated at the cross, but never really understood that he was defeated for the elect only, since he is so obviously active in the world. Thank you for clarifying!

I want to ditto the comments that have been written. Chris, your lesson revealed that I knew only half of a wonderful truth regarding Christ, cross, Believers & Satan. Gracious! I appreciate much more the fullness of truth from Genesis 3:15 & the other verses you mentioned! I am looking at Good Friday with a new, fresh & humble perspective! Great lesson!!
