Our 100th episode celebration and recording will be held on Sunday, June 12, at 6:30pm. We hope you're able to join us.
Today is a somber episode as we reflect on the tragedy just a few miles away from us in Uvalde. We try to process this through the lens of Scripture and encourage you in how to respond to people in times of tragedy, grief, and loss. While you're here, how about subscribing to be notified of new content? The form is over on the sidebar (desktop) or at the bottom of the page (mobile).

“This world is not my home.” As I struggle with processing this evil, these words keep scrolling through my mind.

Amen Susie. Good work, men. It's not our final home thank Heaven for that. On the other hand, we strain to make sense of it all. I at least keep hitting walls - just when I think I grasp how to think of it all - I realize - I do not. It's too high for me. Theodicy is the theology of the vindication of God. Sometimes - it just leaves me cold. There are times when mourning is all we can do with any conviction. But by His grace we can take Psalm 73 to heart. It's as if suffering is required for this to be truly our own. God will vindicate himself even when our theology and personal thoughts/feelings do not meet. Comments are closed.
